Jennifer Wang is an experienced teacher with 24 years of teaching experience in Chinese Language. She received her Master’s Degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Nanjing University and has a Category 2 certificate in International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) teaching.

Jennifer has taught in ACS International School, St. Francis Methodist School and Harbin Engineering University, from the secondary to graduate level across various curricula. She is an IBDP Chinese A Extended Essay supervisor. She was also the Chinese Language and Literature lecturer at the Singapore Chinese Chamber and the Harbin Engineering University.

During her time with ACS International School, Jennifer was the Year 2 Lead Tutor and Curriculum Coordinator. In her role as Curriculum Coordinator, she worked actively with the Vice-Principal to ensure that every student under her care worked to achieve their full potential.

She was also teacher-in-charge for the Chinese Calligraphy Co-Curriculum Activity (CCA). Under her leadership, the CCA achieved the runner’s-up position in the National Secondary Chinese Calligraphy in 2013 and their work was exhibited at the Singapore Secondary School Chinese Calligraphy Exhibition in 2016. To enhance her students’ appreciation for culture and language, Jennifer has organised exchange programmes with many prestigious International schools in China, Japan and Korea.

In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys reading Chinese Literature and immersing herself in classical Chinese music. She also actively look for ways to improve her teaching to make sure her students receive a quality education.
